As a music teacher to children, I found that these videos are excellent for the children in learning.
They are educational yet interesting!
It's fun to watch it with your child.

A Job

As you know I'm currently a piano teacher for beginners, I only work on every Saturday for piano lessons.
I'm free at home on the other days and so I've decided to find myself a job.
I would like to be a tuition teacher as I love teaching kids.
I love teaching kids because I think they are happy in learning.

However, the kids in the tuition center I taught were not happy at all. They described themselves as prisoners.
They didn't mean to come here. Their parents forced them to come here.

It's heartbreaking to know that these kids going to primary school for 6 hours long study period, and they go straight to tuition center to do their homework and attend tuition classes for another 5 hours. EVERY SINGLE DAY.
They do homework together with almost 20 "prisoners" in a small classroom with the tables and chairs closely packed. Moreover, they don't allowed to talk with the other "prisoners" while doing homework.

They don't talk to their parents much.
Their home houses are just the place for sleeping. 
Their childhoods are fully contained with homework, stresses, tuition classes and homework again.

I'm not happy at doing these job.
Every times I check their homework and sign their homework list, I feel guilty as I had never ever done these things to my siblings.

I decided to resign with an array of supports from my families.
I will never be a tuition teacher at that tuition center anymore.
I will continue teaching kids piano.
Because I can feel that they are happy in learning music.

Message to some parents:
PLEASE DON'T STEAL YOUR CHILD'S HAPPINESS BY SENDING THEM TO TUITION CENTER. THINGS ARE NOT AS GOOD AS YOU IMAGINE. IF YOUR CHILD DIDN'T DO WELL IN THEIR EXAM, PLEASE DON'T FORCE THEM TO STUDY BETTER.
LET THEM FREE AND DO THE THINGS THEY LOVE. THEY MIGHT HAVE ANOTHER TALENT THAT YOU HAD NEVER EXPECTED BEFORE.

It's FUN to ...

- Teach cute kids playing piano.
- Sing to them as playing the song (yeah childhood nostalgia)
- Know that my students clearly understand what I've taught them.
   It gives me some satisfaction and confidence in teaching! It's encouraging!
- Assist my teacher teaching a group of children hand percussion.
- Learn how to be a good piano teacher while earning money. It's the best thing ever in my life!

Teacher, Thank you so much for everything you did for me!
Yeah, I'll do my best   : )

Happy 18th to Me

Yesterday I was officially 18th and be an adult.
It was peaceful, calm, no party, no game in my birthday date.
My parents weren't with me as they are out to vacation.
My friends weren't throwing a party to me. ( Huh, it's totally a relief)
I beg for no birthday cake, birthday gift, and no birthday song today.
Because I didn't need these at all.


I keep a great mind in reading The Lovely Bone,
cooking pasta,
looking the scenes which have changed from when I was 6 years old to 18 years old.
listening to jazz,
get a restful nap in the cozy afternoon.
Having a cheap but delicious dinner at Mahkota Cheras.
Done a Korean Collagen-full Mask before sleeping.
Have a great night with a series of lovely dream.

It's a great 18th birthday to me.
