Recent update

It has been hectic these days because of rushing experimental reports, tests, and load of assignments.
Ops! Am I forgot to tell you all that I have changed my degree course to chemical engineering? Some of my friends don't even know that =_____=

All of the chem eng UTAR students have been exhausted studying the Fluid Mechanics in semester 1 year 1. This is such an advanced subject, and I'm just wondering why UTAR let us to study this in our very first semester. Moreover, the teacher for this subject is NOT GOOD! He just read aloud according to the slide without explaining it. This made us pissssssed off.

Okay! About my teeth! I just visited my dentist the pass few days ago, and get my teeth tighten by something called power chain! And it's something like this : (This is not my teeth nor my mouth... it's just for reference.)

It's some strong rubber stretched all over your teeth just to speed up the tightening process of the teeth gap. My one aren't pink, it's white. : ) So it's not that shocking!
It's super painful ... no wonder it's called POWER chain.
But I'm happy to see the good results of my teeth. Ha ha.... I can't even eat normally theses days.

Okay, bye =) take care and have a good weekend!

New University Life in UTAR Setapak Updates

  1. I'm having the 1st year of Chemical Engineering in UTAR Setapak right now! ^_^ Excited!
  2. I prefer this university campus compared to UTAR in PJ. This campus really looked like a REAL university and has the good ambience for study. What I like is, after parking my car in front of the school gate, I have to spend 10 minutes walking to the school campus. There's fresh air along the road as the jungle is besides you, especially in the early morning. Moreover, exercising everyday makes me not that stupid in my uni life.
  3. The food in Setapak is weird but cheap for me. The price range is from RM3.50 to RM5.50 each dish. But I miss UTAR PJ chicken rice so much as the chicken rice here smells like cockroach. (yuck!)
  4. I have been crying all these day because of the terrible condition of my hostel. It's an ultimate dirty package for dirty university student which RM250 includes all the :
  • Ants and worms in the kitchen sink due to the misplaced-rubbishes. (There's actually 2 dustbin there.)
  • Accumulated dropped hair on the toilet floor. Thus, wearing slippers when going into the toilet is a must for me.
  • Smelly air for you as all the house mates collect their dirty shirts in front of the washing machine. And it seems they take a decade to complete the washing task.
  • A room which is smaller than my house's toilet, very hot(stuffy), and looked like a prison.

But I'm so happy cause I'm moving out from that room! ^_^
I will be rather stuck in the MRR2 traffic jam till die than staying in that prison everyday instead.
So that my life is back to normal, which I can share the laughter with my beloved families and spend my times with piano.

Just let me survive this week

Praying hard this week will end up faster.  So, exam will not that suffer.
I just need to survive above GPA 3.9 PLEASE.

After exam, I'm planning to:

  • Go get a bracelet
  • Find job, earn money
  • Buy myself a mask : )
  • Don't touch anything related to academic matters.
  • Play a new piano song. Probably: summer by joe hishashi, or the First Love, or both : )
Hope you guys have a great week.
Good luck.

My holidays

  1.  I exercised a lot this week. I'm falling in love with running, it releases my stresses and worries. Moreover, I'm planning to buy myself a brand new running shoes. New Balance? Nike?
  2. A lot of sad case happen these days, which made me so down for the whole day (Saturday). Firstly, I lost 2 of my piano students as their parents don't like the way I changed the time for the lesson too frequently. This mean, my income reduced dramatically (for me, RM180 is a big case). And I'm going to recruit new students again. This made me so sad, I'm thinking I'm not good enough in my teaching. I hate myself so much.
  3. Secondly, the sad case is, I forget to go for my chemistry replacement exam. Let me tell you, this is SUCK. I went home with a slaughtered soul and broken heart after the piano case, I surfed facebook, I clicked my university announcement board, AND FINALLY I REALIZED THAT THE TEST WAS JUST HELD IN YESTERDAY MORNING, and the worst is, this is a REPLACEMENT test. How the hell I should tell my teacher I lost my replacement test, would you mind design a RE-replacement test for me? I'm wondering was the announcement being uploaded in the midnight? I checked it EVERYNIGHT! I bet the UTAR uploaded it in the darkest hour of midnight. Such a Bitch university.
  4. Well, let's be positive, I went bookfair, bought some stationeries, happy, content, relax.
Have a great days friends. : )  would you mind give me some motivation? I feel down T.T

Uni Life updates

  1. I feel proud of myself for finishing my mechanics tutorial by my own. Such a clever girl... =D
  2. Life's good. My mathematics' tutor told me. He was blaming me for laughing non-stop in his class. (Man, this is not my fault, life is really good) haha.
  3. Actually life is not that perfect, I have 3 full reporst in science to complete, 2 tests to go(which seemed so important for me at this time), 1 assignment to finish. There's something invisible but it has unit called Pascal. Trust me, its name is PRESSURE.
  4. Parking is still horrible in PJ industrial area. Luckily, my tiny car is always fit-able in any small parking lot. I love my car. (I called it as my husband right now)
  5. I lost my phone yesterday and I was so happy about that because finally I can buy myself a new phone. Unfortunately, there's never a happy ending in my story. Well, I just found my phone at the back of my car.
How's your uni life going? Would love to hear from Jolie and Susan. =D
Have a great day.

Uni life lately...

1. My car got bumped by an super idiot on the Federal Highway. Fortunately, it didn't hurt that much.

2. There are too much things to do in a limited time. I have a loads of book and sheets to read, a pile of tutorials to do, and some reports to finish. Besides that, I have a plenty of revisions to do. T.T so bad.

3. So sad to say that I totally can't remember new friends' names. Ha ha ha... just call them gay lou, etc...

4. I met a great lecturer who's so cin-cai... even in his appearance... untidy clothes, dirty shoes, messy hair and anything you can imagine. I love how he teaches us, just don't follow the rules strictly and keep creative always. In the other hand, there's another lecturer who's teaching us in the completely opposite way. She write all things and read them out loud like teaching kindergarten students. So, the class was suffering, for me and the one who sat beside me. But actually she's considered a good and responsible teacher, but the way she teach just get us bored and insane. Yup, I dare to admit that I pull my hair like crazy in the class.

5. I bought 3 books which cost up to RM200. Heart-ached. And actually I'm finding a backpack too, because the side-carried bag is too troublesome for me, eventually it can't hold heavy text books. Financial problem again, OMG.

Hope you have a great study week, let's go hard with uni life. Good Luck.

Recent Uni Life update

First thing to say, the computer system in UTAR is so "state-of-the-art".
They totally can drive me nut when it had to restart all over and over again.

Second point, I parked my car a thousand mile away from the campus these days. It's not a good thing to wake up earlier than birds at 5am. And it has been terrible a experience to start driving from 5.30am along the roads which don't have street lights at all. In another case, if I start driving when the sun rises, I would be facing the massive traffic congestion at Batu11, Batu 9 (severe), Connaught Highway, Midvalley (insane) and lastly the Federal Highway. So, life has been hard these days.

Thirdly, for sure I met new friends in university. The stupid "Introduce Yourself" session was time wasting and I think everyone hates it so much. However, via introducing ourselves, I found that there's a lot of guys selecting Actuarial Science as their degree in the coming years, and there's only 2 girls, including me. Some boys are smart, and I think I'm chicken. Their English is good, proficient, fluent and I don't feel confident in myself to study with these genius in the next 3 years.

Lastly, I have no money to buy books. And do university students do notes? I'm saw some of them doing notes so hard just as my old friends who did amazing job on their notes with a lot of colors and so-what-systems.
So, anyone can answer me?

I only know how to sing the Last Sentence

Finally I know what "Mass Call" is and how guilty I am for attending this activity today. It's totally time wasting!
Okay, let's talk about the school song of UTAR.
We have to pretend we know singing UTAR Song in front of the Dato in the official ceremony. Everyone's standing and blocking my vision in the same time. I can't see the words on the screen displayed. So what I did was just mumbling... until the last sentence, this is the word only I can sing it clearly :"UTAR~~~~~~~~~" ... yup.... made it long.
It was so funny to do that.

But it's a little bit, just a little bit worth attending.
Let me give some good points I did remembered from their speech. (I don't usually listen to speech, it's depends on my mood)

"Be a problem solver, not a problem creator"
"What made you smart doesn't really made you a wise person"
"When a girl said nothing, IT MEANS SOMETHING"
Well, I love the third. I'm a girl too. It's REAL.

After sitting too much in the hall, I went exercise in Mid Valley. This was the first time I drove to Mid Valley. Yes, by myself and I'm kinda proud of myself. It was so lucky that I didn't turn into the wrong way. Otherwise I will not writing blog now.

It has been a long time I didn't came here, it does changed a lot. MPH bookstore was gone and being replaced by UNIQLO. There's Forever 21 and Sticky coming soon while Mango and Zara shops are renewed.

I'm so lucky to meet a load of mickeys in Mid Valley today. They really made the shopping mall colorful. And yet, I'm extremely fortunate to pass by UNIQLO and I found that there is a BIG sale . So, thrifting was my best job. In the end, I'm proud to say that I bought myself a RM40 shirts by RM20 using my hard-earn money. It's the first time I buy myself a shirt. (Usually I wore free shirts from Padini which I have priority to take it as free). *secret*

Sharing some financial education I read in Borders today.

"Money is not everything in life, but it affects everything important in life"
Yes, everything important such as cars, education, places to live, food and health need money.

"Everyone's facing financial problem"
The poor:" I don't have enough money"
The rich:" I have too much money, how can I invest?"
For sure I prefer the rich's problem. But what I can do now for my 18 is get myself survive in the Money Game.

Have a nice day. Good luck.

Utarians' Orientation

I'm home today! Yeah. Just because today's the ice breaking day which I'm not registered.
Okay, let's talk about yesterday.
Everything seems good except the hall.
The hall is a half smaller than Yu Hua's hall. And there's 500 new candidates being squeezed like tuna in it. Feel  very uncomfortable.
Yup, I did make friends. There's a Sabah cute guy who called "Mak" which means "mama" in Malay.
And then I met Yu Hua's friends there. I think there's quite lot of Yu Hua graduates there. Around 13 or 14, maybe.
Unfortunately, I met a mean girl who's in my February group. Yes, we are divided based on our birthday month. This girl really made my university life a great start, which starting deal with this type of annoying and mean people. And finally, I did great job cooperating with her by keeping silent for 2 hour. She don't accept other's idea and just saying bad words about it. I forgive her, I'm good.
That was a good and tiring day.
Great.

Saturday Night

I should be so busy at this time.
But I just want to have the last time for some relaxing before the school open.
My schedule would be FULL, after tomorrow, and life would be colorful.

I'm excited. I think it will not be a good sleep tonight.
I love busy life.
I work hard, play hard.

So, wish me good luck tomorrow. =D
Let's set the fire! Yoooo~
